A new group called Mayfair Heritage is being formed and will bring together all those interested in the 300-year history of the area, the people and places, the streets, buildings and garden squares that have shaped the neighbourhood as it is today.
Mayfair Heritage seeks to encourage support from individuals and stakeholders who have a historical story to tell. The group intends to bring together residents, businesses and community-based organisations to share archives, to highlight and placemark local heritage and reveal fascinating stories about Mayfair’s past.

Following huge support from the public, stakeholders and partners, the Mayfair Neighbourhood Forum’s vision for transforming Mayfair into a green, healthy, and walkable place for all is starting to take shape.
With a public reach of 1800 people + and over 250 people directly engaged, the proposal has generated considerable local interest. When asked, over 90% of people supported the Green Route vision and its objectives. Read the full Engagement Report by clicking the picture below.
